Enter the school via University Blvd, make a right at the light where you can no longer go straight and must turn left or right. Follow the road as it bends around the school. Go about half a mile or so, you should see the new Recreation Center/gym on your right. The building has a large amount of steps leading to the entrance. There is parking directly across from the Recreation Center/gym. Pass the Recreation Center/gym and make a left into the parking lot, then walk across the street.

  1. Hi,

I am planning a trip with a friend of mine this June. we both love badminton and play when we can, we are looking to do a 3 week trip, down the East Coast of the US, starting in Boston and heading down to Florida.

Can you tell me if we would be able to come and play at your club when we are over or if you know of any other nearby clubs?

We are travelling from the UK.

    Any help appreciated.

    1. Hi, it depends of where you are going to stay in Florida. I play at the Badminton Club of Sarasota which is located at 2650 Waldemere Str, Sarasota. We have all levels and some players are really good. You can Contact the guy who runs the club directly. His name is Roger Long and his email is [email protected]. we play once a week on Wednesdays from 6 till 9 pm and sometimes on Sundays from 1 pm till whenever.
You can also Google Badminton in Florida and there are plenty of the clubs all over the state.

      Good luck
